About ION Music Administration
ION Music Administration LLC was founded in 2002 with a mission to help songwriters and independent publishers retain one hundred percent copyright control of their creative works. We wanted to help publishers focus on their songwriters and their creative process without being consumed with all the facets of copyright administration. Since its inception, ION Music Administration LLC has helped songwriters and publishers do just that by handling everything from song licensing to royalty collection and distribution. ION Music Administration LLC has expanded since 2002 to include co-writing and TV/Film placement opportunities.
Years ago, ION Music Administration LLC realized a need for a license clearance company that could find mutual ground between licensee and publisher. As this need expanded, we began to help record companies, digital music services, digital distributors and many others with the license clearance process. Over the years, this part of our company has expanded so we established a subsidiary company, Clearthis Entertainment, to devote itself to this need.
